Glass Jar
This jar was excavated from a "Pipe Burial". The Romans not liking to lose touch with their dearly departed, would periodically hold a celebration at the grave.
A libation of wine would be shared with the departed by pouring it down a lead pipe into the grave, which contained this glass jar and a larger coarseware pot.
